Catered Holiday Food

All our food is freshly prepared by our own chef Theo according to the following principles:

  • Fruit and vegetables are bought at the local markets whenever possible
  • Everything is prepared directly from raw ingredients. This means no spice blends or shop bought sauces.
  • Foods are bought seasonally as much as possible and as such certain products are unavailable. It is sometimes unavoidable to buy things which are not available locally and in season as we are high up a mountain!

Theo is well versed in multiple culinary traditions and has cooked for children and teenagers as well as large groups over the years. He is therefore more than happy to cater to your dietary preferences.

All our menus start with soup as after a days walking in the mountains you need all the rehydration you can get.

    Fish Menu
  • Leek and potato soup with crunchy garlic bread
  • Fish pie topped with creamy mash served with peas and carrots
  • Sticky toffee pudding served with toffee sauce and home-made caramelised brown bread ice cream.

  • Meat Menu
  • Green pea soup with mint and cream
  • Sirloin steak au Poivre served with caramelised leeks and boiled potatoes
  • Individual clementine tiramisus

  • Savoyarde Menu
  • French onion soup with giant croutons
  • Classic Savoyarde fondue with gruyère, comté and emmental cheese served with beetroot and mixed green leaves salad and local cured meats (optional).
  • Caramelised tarte tatin served with zesty crème fraîche
  • Vegetarian Menu
  • Beetroot soup with greek yoghurt
  • Feta cheese and spinach filo pastry pie served with carrots and gratin dauphinoise
  • Black and white chocolate pots with raspberry coulis
